1. Agreement to terms

These terms govern your use of the Lurentis website (lurentis.world) and the training services offered by Lurentis, Kakamega-Webuye Road 51, Kakamega 50100, Kenya. By using this site or booking a session, you agree to these terms.

2. Use of the service and acceptable use

Our sessions and materials are intended to help reporters use lawful, publicly available request procedures. You agree not to use anything provided by Lurentis for any unlawful purpose, and to represent your enquiries and background accurately when booking a session.

3. Intellectual property

Written materials, templates, and method notes provided during a session remain the intellectual property of Lurentis unless otherwise agreed, though you are welcome to use them freely for your own reporting work.

4. User obligations

You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you share with us, and for how you ultimately use any request, letter, or register discussed during a session. Lurentis provides guidance and training; it does not act as your legal representative in any request or appeal.

5. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Sessions are provided on an "as is" basis and reflect general good practice rather than legal advice specific to any one case. Lurentis is not liable for the outcome of any request, follow-up, or appeal you pursue, nor for delays or refusals by third-party public bodies.

6. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
